The final edition of The Mission event, took place last weekend (21. - 22.08.) at the Zeil En Surfcentrum Brouwersdam in Holland.
Fanatic was represented by 4 times PWA Freestyle World Champ Gollito Estredo (V-01), Nayra Alonso (E-4), Peter Volwater (H-24) and Laure Treboux (SUI-4). There was a great new record of 231 pre-entries!!!

After 7 years of great events, organiser Herman van den Berg decided to stop The Mission. The Mission events always were very succesful, the last ones with close to 350 competitors but it’s the right time to stop at this point. Many World Cup Pro riders like Gollito Estredo, Tonky & Taty Frans, Victor Fernandez, Finian Maynard, Kevin Pritchard, Josh Angulo, Karin Jaggi, Jonas Ceballos, Andre Paskowski, Peter Volwater, Laure Treboux, Nayra Alonso, Yoli de Brendt, Cheo Diaz, Arnon Dagan, Dani Aeberli were guest at the event in the last years.

During the last edition the organisers were lucky with the race but not with the Pro battle, the wind dropped from 20 minutes before till 20 minutes after the battle. The Tombola was filled with great prices like a new 2011 Fanatic Windsurf & Surfboard:-) The organizers gave one extra special price: a trip to Club Robinson 5 star resort in Egypt / Soma bay, inclusive a windsurf clinic with Robby Naish!

But all together a great weekend, good wind and a lot of happy people.
