Mat Pearch (K-16)
Thousend of people turning up for the Hunstanton Lifestyles 2010 Extreme Sports and Culture Festival. Lifestyles 2010 included events with the British Slalom Association, British Kitesurfing Association and British Freestyle Association. The event site was kitted out with its own skate park, party tent with live bands and tonnes of new kit on display.
Mat Pearch again took control with four 1st places in the first four rounds and a 4th and a 2nd in the last two rounds to give him a clear win over the chasing field. Despite Mats domination in the pro fleet great racing was had by all.
This is another amazing win for Mat who has now done enough to retain his British Slalom title for another year with 2 rounds still left to do. An amazing achievement from the Fanatic, North and Ion team rider.
"I'm so stoked to be British Champion again this really means a lot to me. I have had some great support again this year form my sponsors friends and family and want to say a big thank you to them all as I know this is a team effort. I will be gunning to try and win the last to rounds of the BSA tour as well as work very hard over the winter to try and come out fighting for the tittle again in 2011"
The new 2011 Wave, Freewave and Freestyle boards were shown for the first time and the reception was amazing. The new Fanatic graphics, North Sails Code Mad colour scheme and the new Quad wave boards got the most comments from onlookers. You can see all these new products on show and demo them in the coming weeks and months.
