Favourite manoeuvre: Anything in waves that get's the adrenaline pumping and leaves me fully stoked on magic wave energy. I froth on big waves :)

How I started SUP/Surfing: I picked up both - Surfing and SUPing - through extensive travels in my pro-kite career as I'm chasing all year round still undiscovered kitespots & perfect waves all across the planet. I got into surfing quite a while before SUPing appeared on the horizon, first in Brazil, then Mauritius, France, Portugal, and today mostly in W.A. That's where I also got into SUPing. I loved it from the 1st attempt :) Today I paddle on my SUP into bigger waves than I dare to on my surfboard. Funny, ey, but I think it's because u can see the sets earlier plus u're standing up already ;) !

My Goals: To write a book, to surf chopes, to kite jaws,... hehehe, joke. the book's serious, though! My main goal in life is 2 be able to continue living my dream and my quest for self-development, to keep pushing my limits, to still surf when I'm 80 years old and by that to promote my sponsors and the sport. In my articles and hopefully book eventually, I would also like to inspire people to dare living their dreams and passions. Last but certainly not least: I would like to engage more & more in projects that raise awareness for and help 2 protect ocean & marine life.
