PKRA Kitespeed Worldtour 2007

With the final in Walvisbay/Namibia (02. - 11.09.07), the fastest kitespeed spot of the world, the 2007 tour came to an end. Fanatic team rider Dirk Hanel finished on 5th place in Walvisbay, and is now in 4th place overall.

This year´s event had very square winds and it was impossible to break any records for the guys in Walvisbay. Waiting to fight his nautical mile world record back the wind was not with Dirk and just returned to Walvisbay one day after the record attempt was over. Hopefully it will be better on the next trial;-)
