The new Fanatic Ray and Falcon Slaloms are online!

The new Ray is a completely new board concept especially guys who do not quite have the skills for a 100% Slalomboard, but do not want to use a Freeride shape, developed simultaneously with our Falcon Slalom boards, basically the fastest Freerace boards we´ve ever made.

The new Falcon‘s are totally balanced shapes in terms of width/outline/thickness and volume, ending the era of super wide and thin Slalom boards. A new trend is set, introducing easier to sail high performance Slalom boards!

Fanatic Brand Manager Craig Gertenbach on the new Ray:
“In the current Slalom trend we found that a certain board type of board was missing, a pure Freerace board. These boards are easier to use than 10 years ago, however they are still quite technical, since they are developed mainly for the PWA, where the riders are heavier, taller, stronger and are sailing much more powered up than an average customer. Also with all the long distance slalom events, like Defi Wind/RRD One Hour Classic etc, there is a lot of people who want to go fast, but don´t really have the skills for a pure slalom board. That´s where we came up with the idea for the Ray, to make boards which are narrower, easier to control, easier to trim and almost as fast as a pure slalom board, just a lot more fun for your average rider to use.”
