Klaas Voget is Windsurfer of the Year 2009!

Fanatic´s Klaas Voget again won the official „Windsurfer of the Year 2009 Award“. The 30-year old from Hamburg had gathered more votes then the German Champ Bernd Flessner, Youngster Philip Köster, Vincent Langer and Steffi Wahl.
The official title "Windsurfer of the Year" is awarded every year from the Action Sports Awards and Klaas already got the title in 2008.
A professional jury (Fred Niedner (stehsegelrevue.de), Ingo Meyer (windsurfers.de), Sascha Jurek (funsporting.de), Matthias Regber (Deutscher Windsurf Cup, Choppy Water) and Nicolas Wendeklen (DWC, Choppy Water) had nominated five athlets the public could vote for.
2009 was so far the most succesful season for Klaas and the Award is just making it perfect.
Klaas:
"I had a good start with the PWA World Cup in Cabo Verde and could raise my results at the following events and finally finished 4th in the PWA Wave ranking 2009.I´m very happy about the Award, it´s the crowning end to a successful season 2009!"
