Lancelin Ocean Classic-Peter Volwater 1st!

Peter Volwater finished 1st at the Lancelin Ocean Classic! Peter used his new Falcon Slalom 112 for the first time during a contest, what a great start! In the Wave contest he came 2nd riding the NewWave Twin 86, his new favourite toy for the waves. Big congrats Peter, well done!!!

The Lancelin Ocean Classic just took place from 7th till 10th of January in Australia and had its 25th Anniversary setting it up to be the biggest one in its long history. This year there were 210 competitors to make the LONG DISTANCE race on Saturday from Ledge Point to Lancelin and everyone is a winner who completes the course over approx 25 km, guybing around 7 anchored crayfish boats made available by the local fishing industry, while the volunteers enjoying a beverage in the hot weather following the spectacle from up close, cheering on the passing by sailors.
