Short and wide is not the answer! We listened to the experts when we were designing our Viper range of Beginner/Family boards – the vast network of windsurfing school organisations. This network provides us with great feedback to design boards that will both attract and keep beginners in our sport. These schools have immense experience with all types of beginners and their input directly influenced our Viper range - modern design concepts combined with proven experience.

Long, stretched outlines and a finely-tuned CAD stretched power rocker line guarantee a long waterline. This is essential for maximal sub-planing performance and paves the way to first time planing experience. The perfect and equally balanced volume distribution makes Windsurfing fun and easy - from the very first step on the board. A daggerboard system vastly increases the sub planing performance by offering additional stability. This is the proven guarantee to staying upwind/coming back to the beach, critical for beginners and light wind cruising. Advanced windsurfers can also enjoy the Vipers as light wind Freeride boards, with plenty of footstrap positions to choose from and an optional tuning kit to further boost performance.

With the help of our tuning kit, the Viper can be further performance tuned into a Fun board, which can be used without a daggerboard. With this tuning kit, the daggerboard case can be closed at the bottom and on the deck of the board, whilst the daggerboard casing is filled with a specially made foam insert. With the closed daggerboard case and the 50cm Freeride GFK fin, the Viper can be converted within seconds into a light wind Freeride board, with a great performance potential!
