BIAX FIBRE / FULL PVC SANDWICH LIGHT FINISH TECHNOLOGY (BXF)
Biax Glass fibre is a strong and super light layup. Perfectly suited to all our Stubby LTD, ProWave LTD and AllWave LTD models, the Biax weaving is a light and impact resistant material. When combined with a single PVC Sandwich and Wood / Biax heel reinforcements, it guarantees the most efficient construction in terms of weight and performance.
CUSTOM CARBON SANDWICH LIGHT FINISH TECHNOLOGY (CCS)
Carbon Innegra is a high end technology with perfectly balanced weight, strength and impact resistant characteristics. Carbon rail sections and a complete Hi-tech Carbon bottom layer deliver an impeccable weight: stiffness ratio. With a fantastic dynamic flex due to its very fine weave, it is used for all Falcon 12’6” and 14’0” models as well as the Strike range.
CUSTOM BAMBOO SANDWICH LIGHT FINISH TECHNOLOGY (CBS)
A lightweight, 90 % pvc and wood glass composite construction ensures a great strength: weight ratio. Combined with some extra glass reinforcements, it absorbs high impact forces. Overall it’s a highly durable layup, with a lightweight and unique wooden deck visual.
PURE LIGHT TECHNOLOGY
The Pure Light technology is an exceptionally durable and featherweight construction. Created for frequent use, the glass reinforcements ensure optimum stiffness. A thick, durable outer skin gives the board’s hull great strength, as well as extra ding and impact resistance.
SOFT TOP TECHNOLOGY
High Resistance Composite technology is a lightweight and durable construction for everyday use. Strategic use of glass reinforcements ensure adequate stiffness, while a strong, thick outer skin gives the board’s hull phenomenal strength. With extra ding and impact resistance, it is used on the Fly Soft Top and Ripper giving a user-friendly soft deck.
DOUBLE LAYER LIGHT TECHNOLOGY (DL LIGHT)
The Double Layer Light technology is our Premium construction. Featuring a second PVC layer which is welded directly to the core layers and around the V-Drop Stitch material, it forms the heart of each Fanatic Inflatable. An additional third layer of coloured rail-bands round off the highly durable and premium quality, with stylish optics of the deck print. The benefits of the Double Layer Light when compared to the standard Double Layer technology is a 20 – 25 % reduction in weight, and around 25 – 30 % increase in stiffness.
STRINGER TECHNOLOGY (STR)
Utilising the best Drop Stitch material available on the market, our Stringer technology provides the perfect durability : weight : price ratio. Furthermore, it also allows us to match the material to the colour of the board.
PURE AIR TECHNOLOGY
Our single layer Drop-Stitch Light Technology provides a quality construction without reaching deep into your pockets. Still produced at one of the world’s most renowned manufacturers, this inflatable Stand-Up Paddle board is created with top quality materials and production standards you’d expect from Fanatic.
DOUBLE LAYER HEAVY DUTY TECHNOLOGY (DL HD)
Built to last, our Double Layer (HD) technology is an inflatable construction for heavy duty usage. The triple layer rail construction (Viper Air, Rapid Air, Rapid Air Touring & Tandem Air Premium) ensures better stiffness and durability. For the Ripper Air Windsurf, we use a Double Layer rail construction to save some weight. Stiffness and performance is guaranteed, as the Double Layer HD technology can take more than 20 PSI of air pressure if needed, we recommend 15 PSI.
DROP STITCH TECHNOLOGY
The material used for the Fly Air is a durable Tarpaulin PVC. On the inside of the Fly Air thousands of nylon threads connect the deck with the bottom of the board to keep it in a functional and performing shape.

Sebastian Wenzel has achieved great things in his shaping career and with over a decade of CAD experience under his belt, there is no question that he is one of the leading experts on computer aided board design. CAD shaping provides board builders with a platform to accomplish unprecedented levels of precision in the designs they produce and Sebastian does just that. CAD also allows us to store every board built since 2004 on a digital data- base so we can evolve, push boundaries and innovate, rather than recreate. Sebastian’s decades of board building knowledge and experience is funnelled into every design created. Through Sebastian’s lead and the collaboration of every Fanatic team member, we continue to build on our already existing library of facts, figures, successful shapes, proven rocker lines, volume flows and rail lines. As we advance it’s clear to see that Fanatic CAD shaping techniques work as our boards keep getting better. FACT.
