With the celebration of our 40th anniversary, we caught up with some of our Fanatic legends: Meet our Wave R&D Manager, Head of Wing Foiling and long-time Team Rider Klaas Voget!

Having signed his first rider contract with Fanatic back in 1999, Klaas got involved in the R&D of Fanatic waveboards in 2005. In 2007, he became a full time PWA Pro Rider dedicating his passion for Windsurfing to the brand and in 2015 he also took on the role of Fanatic Marketing Manager. Since last year Klaas  is very much involved in Wing Foiling (R&D and Marketing) were he just won the first German Open Championships! Klaas is spending as much time on the water as possible - no matter if Windsurfing of Wing Foiling!

With Fanatic since: 1992 – started Windsurfing on Fanatic Ultra Rat and did first jumps on Ultra Mosquito

Highlights: 2nd / 3rd in Waves @ PWA World Cup Sylt 2008 & 2009

Favourite board: Ultra Grip / Sky Wing

Favourite discipline: Wave
