The PWA World Cup at Jinha Beach have seen some amazing racing in both the slalom and foil disciplines with a wide range of conditions testing the sailor’s abilities. Pierre Mortefon secured the final place on the podium again. Pierre also finished 6th in the Foil division.
Pierre: « I am happy of my 2 results. The Asia events are never the easiest ones! I am ready for the rest of the season and I definitely still have all possibilities! Now it’s time to rest a bit at home, enjoy some time with my family and get ready to leave to Spain for the 3rd PWS stop of the year in Costa Brava. »
And Jordy Vonk is the only other sailor to have qualified for every winners’ final so far this season. The flying Dutchman missed out on countback in his quest to break into the overall top 10 last season but has made a tremendous start to the year, which sees him deservedly hold 5th place in the overall rankings after two events!
Also well done to Marion Mortefon in 4th and Esterh de Geus in 5th!
