At the last day of the PWA World Cup Sylt, Gollito stages a stunning comeback to claim his seventh Freestyle world title! After a long waiting perios since the Single Elimination last Sunday, the last day of the event saw a dramatic finale with an early flutter of wind allowing the Double Elimination to be completed. Gollito knew that he would need to give everything to defeat Amado Vrieswijk twice in order to win the event and regain the world title, so he impressed the crowds with a radical display of moves like amazing Air Chachoos and clean Backloops. For sure one of the biggest comebacks ever seen and a well deserved title!
Adrien Bosson climbed up to 3rd place in the Freestyle Double Elimination after claiming impressive victories against Yentel Caers, who completes this year’s overall podium as well as Dieter Van der Eyken.
The Wave boys only competed one day last Friday in quite tricky conditions, Victor Fernandez finished 4th and freshly baked daddy Klaas Voget ended in 5th, feeling quite good in local conditions. Also well done to Alessio Stillrich in 9th! Victor still remains in 1st overall, two more Wave events to come.
In the Slalom discipline Marco Lang has reached is best result ever by finishing 7th! Vincent Langer landed in 8th and Pierre Mortefon in 9th – let´s see what the last PWA event in La Torche will bring, after that we will have the final 2016 results in the discipline Slalom.
Last but not least big THANX to our event team and all riders representing the brand during the whole ten days at our Fanatic event tent – great job with lots of product talks, autograph sessions, team talks and much more!
Well done Gollito, Adrien & all the rest of the team!
