Well done to all Fanatic riders competing at the 2015 Lost Mills International SUP Race in Germany last weekend!
Arthur Arutkin finished 4th at the 18km Long Distance Race in a great elite field. With a blazing hot Bavarian sun beating down on competitors, the start of today’s classic Lost Mills Distance Race on Saturday was quite hectic. With a record 91 guys on the elite race start line, space was tight in the opening few hundred metres. There was seemingly-endless jockeying for position as the draft trains began to form over the first kilometre. With Davide Ionico from Italy in 6th and Jake Jensen in 8th we had 3 Fanatic riders in the Top 10 – not a bad result! In the Fatest Paddler on Earth Race on Thursday Jake Jensen came 3rd and Kai-Nicolas Steimer 6th in similar conditions than Saturday. Well done team – also great job to all our German riders there!
