About myself:
I grew up in Six-Fours in the south of France. By the age of 6 I tried windsurfing for the first time with my dad in front of his surfschool in le Brusc and i remember that I didn't like it so much. Later when Itried it again, loved it so much, spent my entire summer on the beach at the surfschool with all the other kids. We were a nice group of kids and together we got into Freestyle, as the spot was really good for that discipline. From that moment I never stopped windsurfing.I had my first competition experience in Sardega when Iwas 17, for the European Youth Freestyle Championships. At the age of 21 I decided to live 100 % windsurfing ! Now I'm following the PWA Freestyle World Tour and beside the competitions I'm working at my windsurfschool in Six-Fours. My goal in competition is quite simple: Train hard and go as far as I can.

I love...
...being home with my friends laughing, windsurfing, chilling, partying...
I hate...
...angry persons.
If you could be an animal, what would it be?
A cat I think and chill all day - or a bird maybe☺?
If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?
Teleportation for sure! Then I can sail everywhere whenever I want.
Where do you place Straps, Fin and Mastfoot on your Skate?
I place my mast foot further back from the middle of the track, it's easier to duck the sail and a better control on my board.
I like when the straps are tight, you really need a good grip when you do Freestyle. For the frontstraps, at the back plug i screw the straps forward and backward for the front outside plug, like this the frontstraps looks a bit more to the back and it helps a lot for switchstance and are tightened. For the backstraps, i place it closer to the tail to have a better pop and control during sliding moves.
Do you change these settings in different conditions?
I do not change the settings when the conditions change, my settings are the same on all my Freestyle boards. Actually, once I feel I've got the right settings I keep them as they are :)
But I do change boards and fins. I use bigger fins now to have more speed and grip, which is essential for all the new Freestyle air moves. My smallest fin is a 17cm which I use in strong winds and the biggest is a 19cm for lighter winds. I also use different fins if it's flat, choppy or wavey. I would use a bigger fin in the chop compared to a completely flat spot.
Which moves are you working on?
When the conditions are suitable I am trying a lot of Shiftys. It's really hard to control, I like the feeling in the air and there is already some new possible combinations of this move :) I'm working as well on all the new air moves and double air moves! Still some work ahead!
