Competition ranking you’re most proud of:
1st 2016 Immerse QLD SUP titles, wave
Your favourite contest and why:
2015 Australian SUP titles, because I made the finals and got to mix it with some of the best in Australia, and during the contest knocking some of the heavy hitters out of the comp, waves were pretty fun as well.
Your favourite SUP adventure:
In 2015 I travelled to Japan for the Japan Cup Sup race, and while we were there a cyclone hit off the coast and we got sick waves right out the front where we were staying, alongside the good waves everybody in the water were so welcoming and it made it that little bit better.
Number one on your bucket list:
The Maldives – I’ve seen and heard so many good things about the place, combined with its surf and scenery it looks incredible, so hopefully in the near future.
Soundtrack of your life:
1. King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard – Gamma Knife
2. San Cisco - Run
3. The Strokes – Last Nite
I love …
... driving home from a good surf and as I drive past the commercial bakery on the way home the smell of freshly baked bread wafts through my car air conditioning, I’ve never tasted the bread but the smell is enough to make me stoked.
For the perfect SUP day there has to be:
... good company, waves can be sloppy small and choppy but as long as your out there with a few mates having fun I think that’s the main thing, but if it’s a perfect clean 4-6FT pumping it makes it all the more better.
If you were a hotdog and you were starving, would you eat yourself?
Depends what hotdogs if its like most hotdogs definitely not, the meat inside those hotdogs reminds me of SPAM and that canned tragedy makes me feel a little off, gourmet hotdog would be a different story!
If you could have only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
That’s a hard question because I love so many different types of food but I definitely couldn’t go past my mums homemade pies they are pretty tasty.
