40 years with a Blast! We celebrate 40 years of Fanatic with the return of some of our iconic graphics on special editions of our most successful shapes - like the Ultra Blast Rat Edition.

The parallel rails allow the water to flow free of turbulences allowing great acceleration, top speed and easy gybing characteristics.

Just like its Mamba Wave siblings, the narrower width compared to equivalent freeride boards gives the Blast an increased level of efficiency. The wider nose and pulled in tail offer blistering acceleration, but also a stable platform to drive from, giving you tons of speed and control over chop. Push as gentle or as hard as you want in the corners, the Blast responds immediately keeping the speed right through the gybe, with ease.

Performance has never been so easy!

HRS HIGH RESISTANCE SKIN

HRS HIGH RESISTANCE SKIN

1 HRS finish and weight saving graphics
2 Glass HRS layer
3 Heel Glass patch
4 Wood sandwich from tail to center
5 Glass reinforcement layer
6 Ultralight fibre layer
7 Glass rail reinforcement
8 Super light EPS core

High Resistance composite technology is a durable construction for everyday use. A thick, durable outer skin gives the hull maximum strength, as well as making it ding and impact resistant. Strategic use of fibre reinforcements ensure adequate stiffness. In combination with the user-friendly EVA deck, HRS can be seen on the standard Gecko, as well as the Viper / Ripper ranges.

GeckoGecko

Choose the Blast over the Gecko for:

The Blast rides with a more locked down feel than the Gecko and generally offers a higher level of performance. It accelerates faster, has a better top speed and offers more responsive gybing. The Gecko offers an even easier and more forgiving ride.

BlastBlast
Jag LTDJag LTD

Choose the Blast over the Jag for:

The Blast requires less technique to reach its maximum potential and is designed to perform equally well with both rotational and cambered sails. The Blast is easier and less physical to sail than the Jag, with a very controlled, locked in ride and is more forgiving in the gybes.
