Fanatic rider Cesare Cantagalli jumps the first ever Killer Loop.

Viper and Bat beat all sales records. Fanatic moves up to one of the worldwide leading brands.
Fanatic enters the Snowboard business.
1988
Fanatic stands out in the late 80's and early 90's with unique and colorful graphics.
1990
Fanatic produces as the first manufacturer windsurf boards with the high-tech material Nomex-Honeycomb, which is normally used only in the air and aerospace industry.
1991
Fanatic takes over the brand Copello and founded a big development center in France.
The collaboration with shaper Sebastian Wenzel started.
1994
New brand slogan “THE BOARDERS COMPANY“.
Fanatic commits as well to the trend sports Wakeboarding and Surfing.
1996
Fanatic was one of the first producers for Kiteboards on the market and once more presented the competence as a trend-sport brand.
1999
Fanatic team rider Francisco Goya takes the PWA Wave World Title!
2000
Fanatic launched the Cross board, a very successful crossover concept.
2001
Fanatic launched the Falcon 99 – Thunder Tail – the first formula board with really deep and big cutouts. The Falcon dominated the racing scene for many years.
2002
The first Fanatic prototype fully designed on a high end CAD system has been shaped on the CNC machine by Sebastian Wenzel.
2004
The Hawk was the first Fanatic board to be mass produced from CAD design. Every single Fanatic board has been CAD designed since then and is archived in a data base.
2005
Gollito Estredo wins his first PWA Freestyle World Title.
2006
Gollito Estredo wins his second PWA Freestyle World Title.
2007
Gollito Estredo wins his third PWA Freestyle World Title.
2008
Victor Fernandez wins his first PWA Wave World Title. Gollito Estredo wins his fourth PWA Freestyle World Title. Yoli de Brendt became PWA Freestyle Vice World Champion.
2010
Fanatic starts with Stand Up Paddle boards.
2010
Fanatic sets a new standard in graphics and introduces usage of high-tech fibres (TeXtreme® Carbon) from Formula One technologies in cooperation with Oxeon S.A./Sweden into its 2011 range.
2011
First inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard.
The ‘TriWave’ board line is introduced as well as the ‚Gecko’, the first thin/wide concept board for Fanatic.
2013
Fanatic becomes the first brand to use eco-friendly cork in its board construction and also begins using coloured resin for board production.

Gollito Estredo wins Freestyle World Title number six.
2014
Pierre Mortefon and Matteo Iachino win 4 out of 6 PWA slalom events on Falcon Slalom boards, Pierre narrowly missing out on the World Title on a tie-break
2015
Victor Fernandez wins his 2nd PWA Wave World Title and Gollito Estredo his 7th PWA Freestyle World Title. Pierre Mortefon is again PWA Slalom Vice World Champion. Vincent Langer is IFCA Slalom World Champion.
2016
The brand new unique Stubby concept revolutionises onshore waveboard design.

Gollito Estredo wins his eighth PWA Freestyle World Title!
2017
Stubby concept was rolled out into FreeWave STB and test winning Blast shapes.
2017
Fanatic creates the greener, more eco-friendly ‘Gecko Eco’ and launches ‘Gecko Foil’ board and ‘Flow’ foil.
2018
Fanatic gains a third double World Title win with Gollito Estredo’s incredible ninth PWA Freestyle World Title and Victor Fernandez’s third PWA Wave World Title.
2018
Fanatic introduces the ‘Jag Freerace’ at Défi Wind and launch the ‘Falcon Foil’ performance foil board, ‘Stringray’ freeride foil board and ‘Grip XS’ wave board.
2019
Pierre Mortefon wins his first PWA Slalom World Title.
2020
Launch of new ‘Grip’ wave and ‘FreeWave’ shapes and the addition of the new ‘Sky Wing’ dedicated wing foiling line of boards. Fanatic also introduces a new logo!
2020
Fanatic marks 4 decades in business with the 40-year Ultra collection, the new ‘Mamba’ wave range, the ‘Bee’ crossover foiling shape and the ‘Foilstyler’ manoeuvre foil board.
