With the celebration of our 40th anniversary, we caught up with some of our Fanatic legends: Meet our former team rider and windsurfing legend Franciso Goya!

Francisco is originally from Argentina and was with Fanatic from 1999 till 2004. He was surfing and windsurfing from when he was a child and moved to Maui at the age of 18 to be able to spend as much time on the water as possible, becoming one of the most famous wavesailors of all time in the process. Francisco won the PWA World Wave Title in 2000 on Fanatic and was an instrumental part of the Goya Pro Wave range which he developed in cooperation with our shaper Sebastian Wenzel during five seasons. Francisco went on to create his own successful windsurfing brand GOYA and is still totally addicted to windsurfing.
