Congrats Vinci, Pierre & Jordy!

We are happy to have several  National Slalom Champs in 2022!

Pierre Mortefon – France (his 6th title)

Jordy Vonk – Netherlands (his 11th title)

Vincent Langer – Germany (his 23rd title)

Not to forget Marco Lang who is officially not competing anymore but still managed to get the Austrian title!

Jordy Vonk about his 11th Dutch Slalom title:

"In 2022 all three weekends of the Dutch national tour were windy for foil competitions. After winning the first two events of the year, I was definitely in a good position to take home another national title, but it was fun to see the expectations from the people. When I win, people are like: of course! But during the first elimination of the weekend I got second and suddenly everybody started asking what's going wrong?! Luckily it was the only elimination that I lost this year and the other two I managed to win again, but there's a lot of guys pushing, so of course I have to stay sharp. For now I'm happy that I could win the Dutch title for the 3rd year in a row and put my counter on eleven titles in total!"

Pierre Mortefon about his French title:

"The final of the French Championship took place in Leucate – one of the most famous spots of la Franqui! All top riders were there fighting for the French Slalom title after 3 other stops we had all over France in Marignane, Saint Malo and Dunkerque. We had 4 nice days of racing with strong and light wind, but also flat and swelly water, which was pretty cool to race. We raced 4 eliminations on the foil and 3 on fins. I was able to win both disciplines of the event after a solid performance. This new victory helped me to secure a new French Champion title - number 6 in total!"

Germany´s Vincent Langer once more dominated the Windsurf Cup on Sylt and secured the "German Slalom Champion 2022" title. With three wins in three eliminations he clearly showed once more that its well deserved. Vincent dominated the Slalom discipline from the first race. In the end, he was enthroned at the top of the ranking with an ideal score of 2.1!

Vincent Langer: "I am super happy. By regaining the title, this was a special German Champs for me! It´s my 23rd German title now, so quite a list!"
